Cancellation Policy

To confirm a reservation, a deposit (1 night’s stay) payable at the time of booking is required. If a reservation is made through Booking.com or Expedia, guests will be contacted by Harlem Stonegate directly. For reservations longer than 1 night, the remaining balance including any incidental costs are due before departure.

As a small business with limited guest rooms, cancellations can have a big impact on us.  We realize that unexpected situations may occur and we will endeavour to be as helpful as possible in such instances.

Harlem Stonegate offers 2 nightly rates for all listed rooms:

         (a) Refundable Regular Rate (no discount); and (b) Non-Refundable Rate (10% off the Regular rate).

Where guests choose to cancel or change a reservation, the following is applicable.

For reservations booked at the REFUNDABLE regular rate:

1) Guests may cancel or change a reservation, a minimum of four (4) days prior to the reservation arrival date/time. Once a cancellation is processed, a REFUND payment will be issued for the deposit. For changes to a reservation during this period, and subject to availability, the reservation deposit will be transferred to the new reservation date.

2) Guests may cancel or change a reservation, within three (3) days prior to the reservation arrival date/time. For cancellations during this period NO REFUND will be issued. For changes to a reservation during this period, and subject to availability, the new reservation must fall within 60 days of the initial reservation date.

For reservations booked at the NON-REFUNDABLE rate:

1) Guests may cancel a reservation at any time before the initial reservation arrival date/time. However, under the non-refundable rate, there is NO REFUND for a cancelled reservation.

2) Guests may change a reservation at any time before the initial reservation arrival date/time. In this instance, the new reservation, subject to availability, must fall within 60 days of the initial reservation date.
